World Wide Knit in Public Day
Free
Saturday
Outdoors
This year, knitters from NJ are invited to join Knitty City at Bryant Park to celebrate World Wide Knit in Public Day! Show off your love for fiberworks by knitting (or crocheting) outdoors in the public space. Completely free to join.

World Wide Knit in Public Day was started in 2005 by Danielle Landes and takes place on the second Saturday of June each year. It began as a way for knitters to come together and enjoy each other's company. Knit in Public Day is the largest knitter run event in the world.

WATERKNYT hosted Jersey City's first-ever WWKIP day before the COVID-19 pandemic. Until such time as things get back in swing west of the Hudson River, we are invited to join in the fun sure to be happening at Bryant Park. Hope to see you there!
